should i get a macbook or a sony vaio laptop?
pls help..i can’t decide which laptop to buy.. is macbook better than other laptops or sony is better?

but sony vaio’s only got looks….!

My dad has a Sony Vaio and he absolutely loves it. He uses it for a work and also for fun and he swears it’s the best laptop he’s ever used. He’s used many other ones, including a Macbook and he said he will never buy anything else besides a Sony Vaio because it is one of, if not the best laptop you can buy. He did like the Macbook, but he said it wasn’t as fast, didn’t have as many features, and he just wasn’t fully satisfied with it. He works for a biotech company and he has to have top of the line computers for what he does and he said it doesn’t get any better than the Sony Vaio. I think you should go with Sony! Good luck with whatever one you choose though!!

If your only choice is between a macbook and sony….go with the macbook.
The sony is utter and total GARBAGE, and its completely unfixeable when out of waranty…..short of a $800 motherboard, which is a NEW computer and having the drive reimaged using an imaging device cause the vaio cd rom is detected by the os not by its bios…
Now, it was between a macbook and a thinkpad, i would go with the thinkpad….
